The HMAVC is composed of Members and Associate Members. Members are the owners, general managers or representatives of individual hotel & motel properties. Our Associate Members are vendors to the industry and to one another.
The Hotel Motel Association of Volusia County has produced a presentation to highlight the importance of the travel industry in Florida. - Tourists spend $10 million a day in the local economy.
- 36% of area sales tax is from area visitors.
- 40% of the local option gasoline tax is from Volusia County visitors.
